The town is a good base from which to explore the Waterfall Way touring route to the World Heritage-listed Dorrigo National Park. For wine lovers, Raleigh Winery is just north of Urunga. The young and young at heart will love go-karting at Raleigh International Raceway.
Urunga is 23 minutes’ drive south of Coffs Harbour. From Sydney or Brisbane, you can drive along the Legendary Pacific Coast touring route or take a train to get to Urunga. Flights are available to Coffs Harbour Airport, where you can rent a car for the short drive south.
