Solar panels on a green Colorbond roof at a Bonville home, paddocks and hills behind

Residential solar & battery / Coffs Coast NSW

Home solar, sized to your bill.

We look at your usage, when you're actually home, and whether a battery makes sense yet, then quote the system that fits. Installed by a licensed local electrician, with the rebate already off the price.

How we quote a house

We're electricians who do solar, not a sales office.

The person who quotes your system is a licensed electrician who'll be on the roof installing it. We fit a short list of brands on purpose: Sigenergy, Sungrow and GoodWe, the ones we're confident will perform and are happy to stand behind for the life of the system.

Battery storage is a core part of the business. Whole-home backup, not just a few circuits, is what most of our recent home installs have been.

Rebates and finance

The discount is already in the price.

Australia's small-scale renewable scheme pays a rebate on every system through STCs. We claim it, deduct it, and show you the figure. You never chase paperwork or wait to be reimbursed. Finance is through Brighte, and eligible NSW homes can access the state's interest-free loan.

Home solar questions

The ones we get on every quote.

How much will it cut my bill?

It depends on how much power you use during the day and whether you add a battery. A solar-only system covers daytime use. Solar plus battery covers the evening too, which is where most of the bill sits for a working household. We size it to your bill and show you the expected saving before you decide.

Should I get a battery now or later?

Batteries are a core part of what we do, not an add-on, and the rebates currently make them worth pricing. But it's a real question and the answer depends on your evening usage. We quote with and without so you can see the difference. We also retrofit batteries to existing solar.

What does a typical system cost?

Most family homes we do land around 7 kW of solar with a 16 kWh battery. The price depends on your roof, your switchboard and the battery you choose, and the rebates take a real chunk off. You get a fixed price after the site visit, with the rebate already deducted.

Do I need to upgrade my switchboard?

Sometimes, especially in older homes. We check it at the site visit and tell you before you sign. Because we're a licensed electrical contractor, we do the upgrade ourselves rather than sending you elsewhere.

Do you do EV chargers and battery retrofits?

Yes. EV charger installation, battery retrofits to existing solar, and hot water changeovers are all part of the electrical side of the business.

Is there finance or a rebate for homeowners?

Eligible NSW homeowners and landlords can access up to $15,000 at 0% interest, and we work with Brighte for finance. The federal STC rebate is claimed by us and deducted from your price.

How far do you travel for a house?

Up to 100 km from Bonville, which covers Coffs Harbour, Sawtell, Woolgoolga, Bellingen, Urunga, Nambucca Heads, Macksville, Dorrigo and Grafton.
